“You are not an artist simply because you paint or sculpt or make pots that cannot be used. An artist is a poet in his or her own medium. And when an artist produces a good piece, that work has mystery, an unsaid quality; it is alive.”

  1. I imagine this lovely being is a tightrope walker in a very magical circus, not one of those sad ones that we are used to. He/she is wiser than we imagine but hardly ever lets on.

  5. Hello hello! I'm just catching up with things I've missed online, and here you are! Yay!

And your previous post. . . oh my! I'm so sorry to hear about your sore wrist, and hope you continue to heal until you are once again 100%. Ya know, seeing pictures of your forest art always makes my heart skip a beat. What a thrill it must be to come upon these little treasures among those ancient trees! Those painted leaves!!!!!!

    Be well, my friend.

Sending you hugs, love, and healing thoughts,
