Hi Lynne, I`m new to your blog, found you through Anni, whom is a close friend of mine. Your art is fantastic,- and this piece so transparent on the bookpage? is so beautiful. Hugs,Dorthe
As soon as I saw her I thought, "a nurse!" I used to wear a nurses cap and was quite proud of my accomplishment on graduation day in 1967. Sadly the dress code changed and now it's really hard to tell who is a Registered Nurse these days. I see kindness and the whimple of a nun in this figure. She is blessing us all with her gaze.
to me, she looks like a nurse...i like her
ReplyDeleteMmmmmmm, I really like this one. Mysterious....... altho reminds me a little of a nun. LIKE!
ReplyDeleteThe cross makes me think of a nurse too. There is a brand of pencils here called Lyra. It is a pretty name I think.
