people have asked why i didn't show my stuff at the group show... the reason is that i figured you'd already seen everything here before!
i didn't hang william p. turner III and a small eyed boy because i didn't like their frames. the small eyed boy found a new home anyway...
now that's settled... : )

I love to see it when an artist's work is on display! Your work looks fantastic like this - congratulations! (and congratulations on finding a home for your other piece!)
ReplyDeleteOne gets a different perspective seeing art displayed on the wall compared to images on a blog. As SaraLynn commented, your work looks wonderful together like this and the colour of the wall compliments the pieces too. Thanks for sharing Lynne :-)
ReplyDeleteoh, I was hoping - it's so nice to see them like this in this perspective - xxo
ReplyDeleteMaybe we have seen them all before but they look different framed and all hung together in a gallery setting. Plus I get a bit more of an idea of the size of them. They look fantastic here, I wondered also why you hadn't shared a photo of your work and I am glad you did so now.
ReplyDeleteyour faces carry so much reality, personality
ReplyDeletei think They each wanted to be shown "all dressed up", too.
This looks like such a lovely show. Your work is really nice, the faces are wonderful.
ReplyDeleteAwe.... your work looks amazing, Lynne!! A *big* congrats to you!!!!! xoxoxo
ReplyDeleteYaY! I'm in a gallery! I love your work, you know.
ReplyDeleteI spent so much time looking for your address, in my mess of a studio because I wanted to send you a wee something...I didn't want to have to ask for it because I knew I had it and wanted to surprize you. As I am typing this I see where it is in my mind's eye...
Yep. There it was. So I guess you won't be surprized to see from me :) Unless I delete this comment. Which means I would have wasted MORE time.
Am I even spelling surprize right??? Surprise. That's better.
XoX
Thanks Lynne for showing us. It is good to see all the people together. I think all the work together makes a kind of story.
ReplyDeleteIt is great to see the whole family together!
